What's the Use???

If you find yourself wanting to give up because of your medical conditions, please do not despair.  After days, weeks, months and in many cases years of depending on pharmaceuticals just to survive, you may reach a point where you just don't care any more.  I know, because there were times that I just felt like giving up, and then I realized - what's the alternative?  So I continued on my quest to find a way to rid my life of the pharmaceuticals and now live today medicine-free.

Does this mean that what I've done may work for you?  Only you can answer that question.  You know what your motivations are as well as your limitations.  Do what is best for your life at this point in time, and remember that you can always change your mind.  I'd like to give you a gift which may help you immensely.  The gift is a free ebook, over 400 pages written by John Austin, entitled "The Causes of Over 200 Diseases."  Mr. Austin is a Certified Nutritionist, Health Researcher and Author, who is the consultant to the company "Joy to Live".  So first, click on this link for your free gift:

Then, for product information, visit the website

Here's an excerpt from John Austins Book,The Cause of Over 200 Diseases,  page 203:  " The nutrients in Fulvia turn on 52 youth hormones. It helps repair all of the cells in the body including bone, cartilage, muscles, skin, organs, nerves and even DNA. DNA contains the blueprint for the entire organ, which means when DNA is repaired, organs can be replaced as long as there is one living cell.
Experts say it is impossible to get sick when you have a clean, healthy liver. A healthy liver can immediately wipe out any disease organism, but only when it has adequate minerals."

The product does not cure any diseases per se.  Rather, it assists the body in returning to a state of health where the body is able to do what it was originally intended to do --- heal itself!  The more you read about the causes of disease and gain understanding, the easier it is to adapt a lifestyle which enables your body to heal.

Remember, the journey to health is a gradual one.  Since health does not deteriorate overnight, allow your body sufficient time to return to health.  Taking minerals are but one facet - a very powerful facet - of your journey.  More information to follow in subsequent posts.  Feel free to email me with your questions or comments, or just for moral support.  Your comments are appreciated below.

Your Health is Your Wealth

So often, we hear the statement, "your health is your wealth"; but does this statement really, really resonate within your spirit?  I can vividly recall just a few short years ago when I almost lost my life to diabetes.  At the time I was in the Intensive Care Unit at Long Island College Hospital in New York City, and all I did was lay in bed in what seemed to be an endless fog.  Thoughts of money, possessions, what was happening at the house and the like did not cross my mind.  Even though I was not in any physical pain (thank God!), I was so physically ill that nothing much seemed to matter to me.  I can recall a man who was in the room next to mine passing away.  He was brought to the ward in the evening, and the following morning I saw a priest and several other arrive and they were standing around his bed (The room was enclosed in glass and I was able to see what was occurring.) What seemed to have been perhaps a couple of hours later, a doctor went into the room, and I heard him say, "he expired."  I was in such a "fog" at the time, that it did not occur to me until several weeks later what had actually happened - right next to me.

In retrospect, during the time period of my former illness (those of you who know me know that I have successfully reversed diabetes), it is clear to me that there is no amount of money in the world that matters when  you are on your death bed.  If it is your time to make your transition, money cannot help you.

So what's the message here?  Truly, your health is your wealth.  No matter what your present circumstances may be, whether you are happy or unhappy, living in "rags or riches,"  if you have your health, you have the ability to recreate your circumstances.

If this information has been of value to you, please share it with others!

With much love,

Greetings Everyone,

People of all ages can develop "so-called" diabetes.  Here's a video which confirms this, and I believe will give you additional inspiriation.  In the video, Actor/Comedian Anthony Anderson talks about his personal experience.  Hope this helps.

Commit to Being Healthy

When you think of being committed to something such as a relationship or a job, what do you think about?  I would dare say that you think of how much it means to you, how you would not want to lose it, and what you may have to do to keep it.  For instance, in a romantic relationship, you know that in order to sustain it you much do things such as spend time with the person, be nurturing, think of and plan for the future, be kind to the object of your love in thought, word and deed, be responsible....the list is endless.  When you think of your commitment to a job/business that you really want and desire to keep, you would consider things such as being responsible, being present when you are supposed to be, future growth and sustainability, customer service, and the list goes on.

Now let's talk about your health.  If you were diagnosed with "so-called" diabetes, and you are committed to reversing the condition and living a normal, happy, healthy life, then you may have to commit to certain acts such as:

  • An exercise routine.  Check with your doctor to determine whether you have any physical limitations in regards to exercise, and then have a routine tailored to your capabilities.  If you are ambulatory, walking is always a good start.  Also consider yoga or tai chi which have great calming effects among other benefits.  Find a physical activity which you enjoy, and be committed to incorporate it into your weekly routine.
  • How's your diet???  Ok, I know how challenging it may be to alter a diet which you may have been accustomed to for years, however in your commitment to reverse diabetes and live a normal, happy, healthy life, you may really have to take a good, hard look at what you are eating.  Does your diet consist primarily of fresh fruits and vegetables (preferably organic)?  If not, try adding fresh fruit and vegetables to your daily diet, while eliminating one or two types of processed foods.  Everyone is different so there's no magic formula as to how you should progress in order to be successful.  On a personal note, I am vegetarian, however it took me several years before I actually eliminated all meat, poultry and seafood from my diet. Always check with a licensed medical professional before making any drastic alterations to your diet, and then proceed at a comfortable pace so that you can gradually realise success.  This way, you are more likely to stick with it as opposed to attempting a "crash diet." Also, your metabolism will thank you for not shocking it!
  • Let's talk about spirituality.  Do you have a spiritual discipline which allows you to feel at peace and motivated?  Do you pray daily and meditate?  Seek and adopt a spiritual discipline if you do not have one.  It is what I consider a mandatory survival tool.  Include prayer and meditation in your commitment package.
Speak your commitment aloud and write it down.  Place "post-it" notes on your refrigerator, in the bathroom, bedroom, anywhere which when you see the notes, you are reminded of your commitment to health.  You can do this.  The Universe will support you in any good act.  Until next time, I wish you love, light and radiant health.

Your Meter is your Friend

Did you know that your blood glucose meter is your friend?  I have spoken with countless people who have challenges with their blood sugar levels (notice I do not label them as being diabetic!), who tell me that they do not like to test.  Testing is the only way you can be in charge of what's going on in your body.

I recently had a conversation with my medical doctor, who seemed surprised when I told him that I frequently test my blood glucose levels.  The conversation arose because I requested a prescription for test strips.  He stated to me "why do you put yourself through that pain?  Just come to me every few months for blood work I will tell you your A1C number."   I informed him that I would continue having blood work done, however I also intend to self-test at home as well.

Here's the point everyone - if you do not test at home, you are not going to be aware if your blood sugar level is increasing unless you have a huge spike which lands you in the hospital.  Self-testing is essential if you intend to reverse the dis-ease and ultimately rid yourself of the prescription medication.  Knowledge is the key which will lead you to your cure.  If you wait until you have an annual or semi-annual medical checkup to find out whether your blood sugar level, you may learn that you have let several months pass in which you could have been proactively working to bring your level back to a normal range.  I know that testing can be irritating if not painful to some, but the rewards greatly outweigh the discomfort; you CAN reverse so-called diabetes.  Know your body for yourself.  Refuse to be at the mercy of others who may not have your best interests in mind.

Have you found a naturopathic doctor yet?  If you live in the NYC area, try Dr. Christopher Saltpaw.  His telephone number is (917) 968-1038.  Visit his website www.grassrootsnaturalmedicine.com.  If you are not in the NYC area, you can give him a call anyway because he may be able to refer you to someone in your area and perhaps offer a word of encouragement.

Take charge of your life and your health.  Let your blood glucose monitor be your friend.  Reversing/curing diabetes is not for everyone; however if you desire to rid yourself of insulin and oral medication, self-testing can be one of the most effective tools in your arsenal along with cinnamon...moringa...lemon....water...green beans.....more to come!

Gut Bacteria Could Cause Diabetes

Greetings everyone,

Take a look at this brief video which I've linked to. The researchers are claiming that bacteria in the gut may cause diabetes.  It's worth taking a look at.  I believe that the food which we take in, especially meat and poultry, may contribute to having the gut bacteria; especially if it is not properly cooked.  Just a thought.  Anyway, enjoy the video.
